Applying for Exemption from Expenditure Conditions
The purpose of this pamphlet is to assist tenement holders:
- to complete a Report on Operations on Mining Tenement (Form 5 - Expenditure Report) as required by Sections 51, 68 and 82 and Regulations 16, 22 and 32 of the Mining Act 1978 and Regulations; and
- to prepare an Application for Exemption from the expenditure requirements on a mining tenement where the actual expenditure for a specific period has not met the required minimum expenditure for that period, as required by Sections 50, 62 and 82 of the Mining Act 1978.
