Second quarter approvals performance report now available

A report into the Department of Mines and Petroleum’s approvals performance for the second quarter 2009 is now available on the department’s website.
The latest data shows that improvements have been achieved in the department’s level of compliance with its timeline targets across all assessed areas.
The data also demonstrates that, despite the current economic environment, significantly higher numbers of applications have been received in this quarter for the mining sector compared to the first quarter of 2009.
