Core Library Services
The ready availability of drillcore helps industry formulate robust exploration strategies and programs, accelerating discovery and development of the State’s mineral resources.
With core libraries in Perth and Kalgoorlie–Boulder, Western Australia has two purpose-built facilities for the secure archive and display of drillcore and other materials acquired during mineral and petroleum exploration programs in the State.

HyLogger
The 'HyLogger' core scanner is a rapid spectroscopic logging and imaging system that uses continuous visible and infrared spectroscopy and digital imaging to examine core without destroying it in the process.
