Environmental Assessment and Regulatory System (EARS)

EARS Online is an easy to use system which allows tracking of the following Mineral and Petroleum Environmental Applications:

  • Mining Proposals
  • Programmes of Work
  • Environmental Management Plans (State)
  • Environment Plans (Commonwealth)
  • Oil Spill Contingency Plans

As Applications received by the Department are strictly confidential, in order to access EARS Online you must register against a Company. Only Applications lodged by the Company you are registered for will be displayed.

   Access to Environmental Assessment and Regulatory System (EARS Online)

Please Note:

  • Only applications received by the Department from 1st June 2009 onwards are displayed.
  • You must specifically register and be authorised for EARS Online in order to use it. If you have not previously registered for EARS Online or are not yet a user of other online systems within the Department please register for access.
  • IMPORTANT - Users who are NOT currently authorised to use EARS Online may currently experience a problem when accessing the system. A system processing error may be displayed such as "Please contact your system administrator". We are attempting to rectify this problem. However users should ensure to register for EARS access. If you have previously registered for EARS Online access and continue to receive this error please contact us.
