Compliance Workshop for Mining and Exploration in WA

DMP hosted a Compliance Workshop for Mining and Exploration in WA on 20 May 2009 with more than 300 industry stakeholders in attendance.

The presentations made by DMP staff on Life of Mine Planning, Compliance Issues, Expectations for Closure and Relinquishment and Legal Framework can be viewed on the following links.

DMP would like to thank their guest speakers, Joanne Heyes and Kate Somerville from BHP Billiton who gave a presentation on how integrating closure planning with mine planning makes good environmental and economic sense.
