Anyone with interest in occupational safety and health in mining is encouraged to attend the Fifth Annual Mines Safety Roadshow presented by the Department of Mines and Petroleum's, Resources Safety.
The 2009 Mines Safety Roadshow will be held in Perth on Thursday 29th October. Webcasting is also available. Resources Safety has recently started to use webcasting and your feedback is welcomed (ph. 08 9358 8154, RSDComms@dmp.wa.gov.au).

Topics covered will include radiation safety, equipment access (design issues), a safety culture break-out session and process safety.
The cost of the roadshow is $77 (including GST) and will include morning tea, buffet lunch, roadshow pack and continuous tea and coffee throughout the morning.
