Appointment of Classified Plant Inspector - template - 31 Kb

This application form is for exemption under MSI regulations pro forma.

Who can be appointed as a classified plant inspector?

A registered manager may appoint one or more competent persons to inspect both permanent and itinerant registered classified plant for all or a specific part of the mine.

 

Refer to s. 44 of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994.

 

Refer to rr. 6.40(1) and 6.40(2) and Schedule 3 of the Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations 1995.

Notification of this appointment to the Department is not required.

A copy of the signed letter of the s. 44 of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994 must be kept in the mine record book and classified plant record book.
