Reporting occupational hygiene sample exceedance

Who can report results?

An authorised ventilation officer or ventilation technician.

When is the notification required?

Any exceedance for a contaminant needs to be notified at the same time as the results of ATMOSPHERIC sampling are reported.

A copy of the exceedance notification must be recorded in the ventilation log book.

Required information

An action plan to prevent a recurrence of the exceedance must be submitted with the notification.

Lodging your notification

The exceedance notification and action plan can be submitted via the Safety Regulation System.
