Forthcoming geophysical data releases

Lagrange–Munro 2010 airborne magnetic and radiometric survey

Images and grids of final data from the regional airborne magnetic and radiometric survey at 400 m line spacing that was completed in June 2011 will be available from the GSWA website on the Regional Geophysical Surveys page. Point-located ('vector') data and grids from this survey can be purchased on disk from Geoscience Australia or downloaded free of charge from the Geophysical Archive Data Delivery System (GADDS).

Access to previously released geophysical data

Image data from previous geophysical releases can be found on our Regional Geophysical Surveys page. Digital located and grid data can be purchased on media from Geoscience Australia or downloaded free of charge through the Geophysical Archive Data Delivery System (GADDS).

GSWA Open Day 2012

This event is held every year and is a great opportunity to hear presentations on the latest results from GSWA's geoscience programs and see demonstrations of the Department of Mines and Petroleum online database developments.

Activities and results of the $80 million Exploration Incentive Scheme will be outlined including the launch of Round 5 of the Government Co-funded Exploration Drilling program.

Throughout the day there will be geological presentations and an extensive poster display.
