| MERIWA Structure | |
| The management of MERIWA is vested in a Board of four directors, one of whom is appointed Chairman. The Minerals Research Advisory Committee (MRAC) is appointed to advise the Board on research project grant applications. The MRAC has eight members representing research or industry organisations active in Western Australia, and six additional members appointed by the Minister for Mines and Petroleum because of their knowledge of, or interest in, minerals and energy research. | |
| The MRAC members are divided among Sub-Committees by areas of expertise. | |
| MERIWA's Executive Officer, Project Coordinator, Secretary and a Chief Finance Officer are engaged on a part-time contract basis. |
