Mineral Titles Online (MTO) provides the ability for users to conduct online transactions (eLodgement) with the Department. eLodgement refers to the electronic lodgement of Mining Act forms based business processes and any associated documentation via MTO. The introduction of this eLodgement functionality does NOT replace any existing business processes or methods of interaction with the Department.
Customers of Mineral Titles Online now have the ability to order tenements searches, order a tenement data extract, submit selected transaction forms, make rental payments or lodge supporting documentation online 24 hours a day 7 days a week (subject to system availability). This functionality alleviates the need for customers to attend the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety or any of its regional offices.
eLodgement processing uses a wizard style interface to streamline the online transaction process and upon completion submission notification is provided by email. The transaction email provides a summary of lodgement and will include a submission id. This number can then be used as a reference with the Mineral Title Division.
