Selection of this option from the Process menu allows the user to print a tenement locality map.
This map feature locates the position of a tenement chosen by the user within Western Australia.
This feature is provided for tenement holders to print a standard locality map for submission with annual exploration reports. The print only shows a limited amount data to make the map easier to read. The centre or centroid of the tenement is represented by a circle.
The standardised tenement locality map provides the following information:
- The centroid coordinates in Latitude and Longitude.
- Major topographical features.
- The distance and direction the tenement is from a well known town.
- The position of the tenement is shown on a small map of Western Australia.
To use this feature:
- Select Process and then Tenement Locality Map from the main pull down menu.
- Type in the tenement number
- Choose the paper size and orientation of the map from the dialogue.
- Select the scale of the map you want to print (The default scale of 1:150,000 is usually adequate but may need to be changed depending on what part of WA the tenement is located.)
- Press the Apply button. The screen is refreshed. Note: The tenement is not shown on the screen.
- To proceed with the print press the Yes button when a new dialogue pops up.
- Within a few minutes a notification email is sent to the TENGRAPH Online registered users account with a link to the locality map. Click on the link to download the map.
This TENGRAPH map product displays the location of the tenement in Western Australia.
Note: To view tenement information overlayed on land tenure use one of the Enquiry options.
