Should you wish to tailor topographical features you should firstly consider the following.
Topographical features have been divided into three levels major, minor and detailed. The columns in the dialogue give access to these features as follows.
All = major, minor and detailed
Major/Minor = major and minor
Major only = major
The "All" group contains all topographical features that are held in TENGRAPH whilst the "Major" group contains only major topographical features such as roads, railway lines etc.
Topography is also divided into type specific groupings.
A complete list of topographical features, their colours and groupings can be found in the Legend document available on the Department's TENGRAPH On-line web page.
The Tailor Topography dialogue box allows you to select different levels of Topography for each type. To open the Tailor Topography dialogue:
Press Selections from the main menu bar and then Tailor display > Topography...
Press <Apply> when selection has been completed.
Note: If you did not request All levels of Topography to be loaded at the Enquiry stage you will not be able to view this level of topography without reloading your data (ie making a fresh Enquiry and requesting detailed topography at that time in the data load options dialogue).
