New Low Impact Mining Operations approval form available for review

The Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) is seeking industry feedback on the Mining Proposal and Closure Plan for Low Impact Mining Operations form.
In consultation with key stakeholders, DMIRS is undertaking a revision of the current environmental approval form submitted for small (low impact) mining operations.
The draft form is available through the DMIRS website for an eight-week public feedback period, from Wednesday, 13 September to Wednesday, 8 November 2017.
Please note, no changes are being proposed to the existing Programme of Work – Prospecting form.
