In this issue, readers are reminded that online applications for Round 16 of the Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) co-funded drilling program close on 20 October 2017. Successful applicants will be refunded up to 50 per cent of direct drilling costs, with caps of $150,000 for a multi-hole project, $200,000 for a single deep hole, and $30,000 for a prospector’s project. More details are available at the DMIRS website.

The eNewsletter highlights the upcoming open day ‘GSWA in the Goldfields’ on Thursday 16 November. The event features a number of free events during the day and will close with three talks as part of the Raglan Drilling Geology Lecture Series at the Hannans Club.

Information is also now available on a recent GSWA report covering the diamond exploration and prospectivity of Western Australia. Results from the study were recently presented at a conference in Botswana. The product is planned for release during November 2017.
