Submitting a mine plan

All health and safety notifications, forms and guidance for mining and petroleum has moved to the WorkSafe website

It is no longer necessary to submit hardcopy mine plans. Instead, they should be submitted in electronic format.

Online submission

For all online submissions, please refer to the general exemption for minimum requirements of plans.

Ad-hoc File Transfer

The preferred method of submitting mine plans to the Department is using Ad-hoc File Transfer (AFT).

Once your mine plans are finalised, send a short email to rsdmineplans@dmirs.wa.gov.au with the name of the minesite you are submitting plans for. You will receive a response email from the department which will include the upload link.

Do not attach any files to your request email
