What is this layer?
MnO content in weight percent (wt%) for all samples from the CRCLEME laterite geochemistry database. Samples were collected as part of the ‘Astro Yilgarn Regolith’ collaborative research project conducted by CSIRO between 1997 and 2000 and sponsored by Astro Mining NL. This publicly available database includes multi-element analyses of 4441 regolith samples from the central Yilgarn Craton.
The layer shows samples that have been analysed for MnO via a 3 × 3 cell mean neighbourhood statistics raster. Cell resolution is 0.05º (~5 km). Areas in red indicate a higher value.
