The 2018 Mines Safety Roadshow is the fourteenth in an annual series presented by Mines Safety. It is an interactive event that encourages engagement and the exchange of ideas.
The program starts with an update on what is happening in mines safety and health in Western Australia from both regulatory and industry perspectives.
Our focus will be the importance of safety and health representatives and the key roles they play in the consultation and promotion of safe work practices within the minerals industry.
The program showcases three new safety videos, as well as the Emergency management for Western Australian mines – code of practice and workshops on mentally healthy workplaces and investigations in serious and fatal accidents.
