Comparative Performance by Operation Type - (External)

The Report provides Restricted Work Injury (RWI) and Lost Time Injury (LTI) data for the selected site operation(s) by operation type in comparison to injury rates for site operations of the same type.  It also shows injury data for the selected operations in comparison to the rest of WA Mines. 

The charts on page 2 provide information on the selected site operation's average workforce and injury data.

Lost Time Injury (LTI): Work injury that results in an absence from work for at least one full day or shift any time after the day or shift on which the injury occurred.
Restricted Work Injury (RWI): Work injury (not LTI) that results in the injured person being unable to fully perform his or her ordinary occupation (regular job) any time after the day or shift on which the injury occurred; e.g. where alternative or light duties are performed or hours are restricted.

The available data is taken from monthly status reports in the status of 'Approved'.  The reports only show onsite injuries and excludes recurrent injuries.


To view reports:

Select Report Period - (Last 12 months or Previous 12 months)   
Select Operation Type - (Open Pit, Port, Processing, Services, or Underground).  This is available as a single selection only.  If the Operation Type does not exist for the selected Combined Operation, then the site operation will be blank.  Please choose the correct Operation Type in this instance.  
Select Principal Employer (PE) - Where more than one, this is available as a dropdown
Select Combined Operations (CO) - Where more than one, this is available as a dropdown
Site Operations - Where more than one, this is available as a dropdown. The site operation(s) available in the dropdown is filtered according to the operation type.

RWI and LTI Duration Rates
RWI Duration Rate: The average number of restricted/alternate work days per injury.
LTI Duration Rate: The average number of work days lost per injury.

RWI and LTI Incidence Rates
RWI Incidence Rate: Restricted work injuries per 1,000 workers over a 12-month period.
LTI Incidence Rate: Lost time injuries per 1,000 workers over a 12-month period.


RWI and LTI Frequency Rates
RWI Frequency Rate: Number of restricted work injuries per million hours worked.
LTI Frequency Rate:  Number of lost time injuries per million hours worked.

Workforce
An average number of workers (employees and contractors) per month.
Million Hours Worked
Calculated figure to display million hours worked (employees and contractors) over the selected period.


Restricted Work Injuries (RWI)
Number of work injuries (not LTI) that resulted in the injured person being unable to fully perform his or her ordinary occupation (regular job) any time after the day or shift on which the injury occurred, for example where alternative or light duties are performed or hours are restricted.
Lost Time Injuries (LTI)
Number of work injuries that resulted in an absence from work for at least one full day or shift any time after the day or shift on which the injury occurred.


Restricted Work Days
Rostered work days the injured persons were on restricted/alternate work duties due to work injury.
Lost Time Days
Rostered work days the injured persons were absent from work due to work injury.
