How do I report Nil statistics?

The employment status in the Monthly Status Report Form can be reported as NIL Stats by selecting the <Nil Stats> button. If there are no values in the fields, the system will set the mandatory fields on the page to zero ‘0’. If there are values other than zero ‘0’ in any of the fields on that page, the system will prompt the user to confirm that they would like the mandatory fields set to zero ‘0’.

If there are contractors already added on the page, the system will prompt the user to remove the contractor entries from the contractor’s grid section prior to being able to set ‘nil stats’. The surface and underground <Nil Stats> buttons work independently. The <Nil Stats> button does not impact the levy hour fields so the user if setting Nil Stats would still need to fill out the levy hours field.

How do I calculate the average number of employees?

The method for calculating the Average Number of Employees is as follows:
Count the number of employees on site each day, add them together then divide by the number of operating days in the month. For example; Contracting Company for ABC had 300 employees working at the operations each day for the reporting period of March 2012 (operating every day of March). Calculation for this method would be (300*31)/31=300. A second example; Company for ABC had 300 employees working at the operation each day for 10 days and 150 employees working at the operations each day for the other 21 days of the month. Calculation would be (300*10+150*21)/31=198.38=198 (round to nearest whole number).
