The landscape of electricity distribution and consumption in Australia is changing with technological advancements in energy storage and alternative renewable power such as solar and batteries shifting the market. As the electrical industry changes, Standards Australia has been releasing numerous new roadmaps and editions of electrical standards to help support the transition for electricity networks.
The aim of this conference is to help industry in Australia to understand the role of the various regulators in the different states, and how they can best achieve regulatory compliance. They are key issues in achieving compliance throughout all the Australian states will also be identified.
Patrick Byrne, Inspector of Mines – Electrical Engineer, will be presenting at the event sharing on the recent analysis of incidents on electrical arc flash hazards in the mining industry.
